چکیده
Aim: The primary aim of this study is to investigate the effect presence Fibromyalgia(FM) on cardiovascular risk and cardiopulmonary capacity in diabetes mellitus (DM) patients. In addition, prevalence FM DM patients was investigated according American College Rheumatology (ACR) 2016 criteria.
Material Methods: included 188 premenopausal female with Type 2 DM. physical activity level participants assessed International Physical Activity Questionnaire - short form. evaluated 6-minute Walk Test. risks were Framingham score. Participants examined for ACR Results: 63 (33.5%) met diagnostic criteria. have significantly lower levels (p=0.004) (p=0.009), they also higher (p=0.02) than without FM.
Conclusion: seen approximately one-third patients, reduces increases risk. management diagnosed DM, should be investigated, treatment applied pharmacological non-pharmacological methods reduce contribution

OBJECTIVES We determined the prevalence of classical risk factors for atherosclerosis and mortality risk in patients with CGI. METHODS A case-control study was conducted. Patients referred with suspected CGI underwent a standard work-up including risk factors for atherosclerosis, radiological imaging of abdominal vessels and tonometry. Cases were patients with confirmed atherosclerotic CGI. C...

Introduction Diabetes mellitus(DM) is considered an independent cardiovascular risk factor. Having in mind concomitant occurence of diabetes and other cardiovascular risk factors, it is expected that patients with poor glucoregulation will have more cardiovascular risk factors and higher cardiovascular risk than patients with good glucoregulation. Aim To compare cardiovascular risk and cardio...

متن کاملImportance of cardiovascular disease risk management in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus
Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is commonly accompanied by other cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk factors, such as hypertension, obesity, and dyslipidemia. Furthermore, CVD is the most common cause of death in people with T2DM. It is therefore of critical importance to minimize the risk of macrovascular complications by carefully managing modifiable CVD risk factors in patients with T2DM. Ther...
